Welcome to The Australian A Cappella Collab Project! This is a brand new project fresh out of Australia and showcasing the amazing talent and a cappella community we have here.
Whether you've come here to listen to amazing a cappella music or want to know how you can participate in our upcoming videos and sing along, you've come to the right place.
Even though we've been performing for years, this project is all very new so we'd be glad to have your support as we continue to create new videos as fast as we can. Check out our latest videos or sign up to participate in a future one!

Matthew Tuey
Creator, Audio Engineer, Arranger & Bass Vocalist
Professionally trained and active in the U.S. A Cappella music industry, he’s performed in over 36 countries and delighted thousands of audience members around the world and now calls Sydney home.
Matthew has performed with top recording A Cappella groups; Home Free Vocal Band (winners of NBC’s The Sing Off, 2014) and The Vocal Union (one of Nashville top Southern A Cappella groups) as well as Full Tilt, an A Cappella quartet with Celebrity Cruises.
Matthew is also a talented musical arranger, recording engineer and sound engineer with his a cappella recording studio, 2E Studios, based in Sydney, Australia.
Meet the Team
Alex Van den Broek
Producer, Videographer, Arranger & Alto Vocalist
Hailing from Brisbane, Alex has spent time over the years collecting different musical experiences as a soloist, chorister and director across a range of different genres.
She has performed, arranged, conducted, or directed various groups around Queensland including the Australian Girls Choir and Jazel.
Alex studied performance, songwriting, and sound production at QUT and currently is the director of QUT Music Society's Vox Pop choir and Centenary State High School's Choral Program as well as a performer and music director for the all-female vocal group, MVP.
Alex is also a multiple award-winning arranger and director working as both an arranger and creative consultant for various groups across the country.
Michael Honey
Producer, Audio Engineer, Arranger &
Baritone Vocalist
Michael is a versatile and talented A Cappella influencer—sings baritone, raps, beatboxes, arranges, writes, records and mixes.
Michaelʼs producing/songwriting career has garnered him several awards in the USA—winning "Best Hip Hop Song" and "Best Hip Hop/R&B Video" at the Contemporary A Cappella Recording Awards 2018 and A Cappella Video Awards 2018 respectively.
Outside the Australian A Cappella Collab Project, youʼll find Michael in Melbourne fronting hip-hop A Cappella band Drums of War, or engineering at Fusion Music alongside Richard Steighner (The Exchange, Freedomʼs Boombox, Urban Method).
